As the writer and creator of 'The Furthest Distance in the World,' I explore the poignant spaces between presence and absence, memory and loss. This film weaves together the narratives of Birdy, who navigates the spirit world, and Fisher, who endures the weight of grief in the physical world. Through their intertwined stories, the film delves into the emotional landscapes of love transcending the boundaries of life and death. My aim is to invite the audience into a deeply personal yet universally resonant journey, reflecting on how love can bridge the furthest distances between us.
