Hello! I'm Felicia, and alongside my incredible first-time documentary team from Lancaster University - Jade, Louis, Roshan, Samuel, and Leon - we bring you "Flavours of Home: The Story of TwoThai". Our film delves into Jing's remarkable journey, from her post-graduate studies to entrepreneurship and settling in Lancaster, UK. Through Jing's narrative, we explore themes of belonging, post-graduation anxieties, and the entrepreneurial spirit of foreigners.
The genesis of this project emerged from our collective apprehensions about life after university. Our hope is that this documentary empowers students to navigate their own paths with confidence. Jing, whom I met during my arrival in Lancaster in the Winter 2022, left a lasting impression with her warm hospitality and unique story.
For our team, "Flavours of Home" provided an opportunity for introspection on the forthcoming chapters of our lives. We are immensely grateful for your viewership and support as we continue to evolve as artists.

Film Synopsis
Flavours of Home: The Story of Two Thai is a documentary that explores the themes of belonging, post-graduation, and entrepreneurship through the experiences of Jing Pongwisaitat, a Master's graduate turned Thai restaurant owner.
The film was produced as part of LICA257 Documentary Practice module.
